'I love you' are spoken
seem to fall short in meaning
from a heart finally unbroken
Why is it when for all you give
I say thank you
and yet it does not begin to express
the gratitude for all you do
Your home you have made ours
my place of solitude
Where the world
dare not intrude
I can still see the tracks
of my departing suitcase
Oh the tears that I shed
With our see you soon embrace
The time that was spent
in this hide away room
where laughter love and joy
was so sweetly consumed
How does one say thank you
for giving back all the Christmas' lost
And for all the roads that lie before us
as one we now wait to cross
The wings you have placed
on this heart of mine
allows me to finally soar
with no limits of time
You have stirred a love
in this battered heart
You removed all past scars
and have given a new start
Thru you my prayers are answered
