She celebrates this special day
Just one day better than yesterday
I wish her well although it seems
This joyous date brings back bad dreams
How could we start to change her mind
To live this date that starts with Nine
That with Eleven rekindles sorrow
Today a gift, given time borrowed
She should assess all that she's lived
The good and bad, those she would give
Her heart of Gold, a smile that says
Today I send Gods love your way
I wish today her birthday rocks
That she will laugh at those who mock
This child of GOD, with broken wing
Angel is she, a special blessing
