Believing Is A Blessing
Jesus is the Son of God I know it's true
He hung on the cross for the sins of me and you
Blessed is the man that believes in our Savior
I know I'm blessed and highly favored
I pray to God to send someone my way today
If we don't know where to go Jesus shows the way
Jesus won't forsake you , all you have to do is believe
Jesus loves you , the devil will only deceive
The devil will only make promises he can't keep
He came to kill,steal and destroy ,he's a real creep
The devil will tell you to do something wrong
We are God's children, to satan we don't belong
Living for Jesus is how to be truly free
satan don't care if we go to hell you see
I vote the bible back into every place
I would prefer to spend eternity saved by grace
I wrote this poem the day before nine eleven
Everyday our souls need to be prepared for heaven
The joy of His presence is such an inner peace
I know the love of Jesus will never cease
This world is moving fast but we need to give God time
Everything belongs to Him and without Him we'd not have a dime
Walking in the blessing making God's word the final authority
I know now this is what he has always wanted for me
I'm not saying I won't make a mistake on any given day
He always makes a way where it seemeth to be no way
The word says we all fall short of the glory of God
The devil causes pain and strife on satan we need to trod
Praise Him through it all the good and the bad
If God be for us,who can be against us,with His joy I'm glad
The blessing of the Lord maketh rich and add no sorrow
He's the one that causes each breath ,giving us tomorrow
I want to be in the Lord's will is what I pray
This is the day that the Lord hath made__
I will rejoice and be glad in it,is what I say!!
