A Praise to God
Be glad in the Lord and rejoice,
Shouting out His name with your voice;
You are a doer of righteousness,
Being filled with His blessedness.
Give praise unto the Lord thy God,
Worship as you honor and laud;
Praise is beautiful for your soul,
Letting His Spirit take control.
Play your music for to astound,
A melody that is renowned;
Make a new song with a loud noise,
Changing all sorrows into joys.
The Word of the Lord is upright,
And righteousness with His delight;
The earth is full of His mercy,
And wisdom with insight to see.
Allow all of the people to hear,
The praise loud enough to bring fear;
Making everyone stand in awe,
And starting to respect His Law.
