'Catch a Smile'

High is the sky above all aglow,
With vastness deep as earth's grators below,
We're lost in time like space is free,
To fly within, forever see.

We stand and we watch all that comes from above,
With arms reaching outward like wings of a dove,
They lift us as gently as birds sail in flight,
And hold us tightly throughout the long night.

So feel the wind, smell the breeze,
And catch a smile that's given free,
Savor it throughout all time,
While angel's voices ring like chimes.

As space is free, our time's not lost
When chance is given without thought,
It comes to those who seek to find,
The truth within the eye that's blind.

~ Whoever said we need sight to see?
I really wouldn't wish to be without
my sight, yet so many things reveal
themselves without the need to actually
see them. Try closing your eyes and just
let yourself 'feel', you might be surprised
with what happens. This poem speaks of
such happenings. ~
