Little houses under trees
Gnomes and elves and strange fairies-
Little rooms running this way and that
Little windows to let in the breeze-
Ever so neat but rather small
Small fire places and little kettles too-
Little tables and chairs ,a little hall
So hard are they to find only a few-
Hidden here and hidden there
Little homes beyond compare-
Little people only dare
To tell another one at all just where-
Out in the wild they hide their home
Under trees the elves,the fairies,the gnome-
Coming out at night sleeping during day
Within their homes safe and alone-
Hardly ever seen are they
Only during the depth of night they play-
Never seen in light of day
Little homes snug under trees that sway-
Within the leafy forests there
How they venture out within nights air-
Doing all they feel is fun and fair
Little homes beyond compare-
