She waits patiently through the ages of time
For her lost lover with thoughts so kind
Hoping that one day he shall find his way
To forgive the reasons which took him away
Without a word he disappeared into darkness
Leaving so much love behind in angry mockness
In her heart she has waited nights and days
Waiting to hear some word of his changing ways
Her castle is a cold memory of what used to be
Which rains regret in her heart so constantly
He was pushed to the concept of no return
She should have stood by him with more concern
Instead she gave in to pressures of peers
Shutting off his love given through the years
Now wiser and lonelier than ever before
She waits in hopes for the opening of his door
