CORAL CUTS


Colorful to see
Cutting to the touch
Mermaids silkily
Swim by them with such

Skill and grace of time
Possessed within their souls
Motions of gliding rhyme
Mermaids with coral rolls

Seeing is believing
Observe one from the rocks
There we will be weaving
With tails and long hair locks

Streaming through the coral
Mermaids will sing their song
With the ocean chorale
Uncut where they belong.
