A Christmas without the tree is just unheard of.
It's beauty and fragrance of the Christmas trees
have been an important part of the celebration as
well as of the family since time began.
~~~
The most important part of the holiday celebration,
is the selection of the tree.
Then carries on with the decoration as all of the
revelry takes place in from of this Christmas tree.
~~~
Then beautifully wrapped gifts are placed neatly
under the tree, as family and friends gather around
to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior;
in many parts of the world including our own country.
~~~
The Christmas tree is the symbol of the Christmas
season. They played their symbolic part because they
stayed green and alive, while other evergreen plants
appeared dead and bare.
~~~
They represented long lasting life and hope for the
return of spring.
Over 500 years ago the religious meaning began to be
associated with these plants.
~~~
Now today choosing the right tree is very special and
important. With so many varieties of evergreen trees,
it's hard to pick from because they're all so significant
in they're own unique way.
~~~
Just to name a few are the Spruce, Fir, Pine, Ceder,
Cypress and the list goes on.
Another important thing is finding the right tree with
supporting branches to hold it's many decorations.
~~~
Once the right tree is chosen, then all the fun begins
with the decorating.
It's up to the taste and preference of the individual
to decide the kind of look they want to give their tree.
~~~
Decorating begins with their choice of color,
style and theme.
Decorations consists of colored ribbons and bows,
ornaments, glistening garland, and blinking lights.
~~~
No matter how the tree is decorated it will always
symbolize a special tradition with families gathered
together around the tree;
exchanging presents and love.
~~~
So when you celebrate Christmas this year, take your
time in selecting that choice of tree.
Remember it has to be just the right one. Christmas
is a special celebration so make your tree special as well.
~~~
So now from my home to your home
have a very warm and
safe Christmas.
