Maxi-Jay is nine today
Can you believe that`s true
A smile as sweet as sunshine
And eyes of brightest blue
He talks about the dinosaurs
As if they were his friends
Cap askew, he`ll dance for you
On that you can depend
Reading now and writing
Likes to paint a scene
Tree and sky and brook nearby
Of art, he`s really keen
I can see the little boy
Is fading to a man
And I know that he will be
Everything he can
One day he will look back and see
How precious is your youth
Hold it Maxi, very tight
For you know the truth
Is every moment`s golden
And flies away so fast
Enjoy today my darling
Make it last and last
Happy birthday sweetheart
May all your dreams come true
Love you darling, always will
