To Me




To Me



From our first 'Hello'
I knew there was something ...
Didn't know what ... Just something.
As time was spent together ...
We shared Laughs and Tears
Ideas and Opinions
Hopes and Dreams
Joys, Worries and Sorrows
Fears, Hurts and Disappointments
Didn't know it at the time but it was true
sharing and connecting of hearts. ღ KKD ღ

Sometimes you have to get a little
shock of reality to know when someone
reaches out to you, or you reach out to them.
You start to trust, you open up a little more,
you feel things are right just the way they are.
There comes a time when you know
you can begin to tell all those little things
you kept silent about. You feel more at ease
each time you talk, you find yourself
hanging on every word.
It's a feeling you have waited
forever for, and one you never
want to let go of ....
that's how special it is.    J ღ

Oh those deep hidden feelings
and passions untouched for so long ...
I mean how many times does one
have to touch the flame of a candle
to learn that it is hot?
Some only once ... Some never learn...
But not all bright things are hot
and all dark things are not cold.
It is very difficult to reach out
of that long occupied safe zone
and in trust ones heart to another.
Yes, you become venerable ...
Yes, the risks are high ...
But one true friend out weighs all risks.
I will always be near
Just a touch away
Take my hand and walk with me ...
But please remember
it is connected to my heart ...   ღ KKD ღ

How do I even begin to tell you
what I feel in my heart?
How can I make you sense
all the emotions I am feeling?
Why do I seem to know so many words,
but not the right ones?
How did the good Lord above grant me
the sweetest friend on earth?
How ... Indeed
I will always promise
you a place in my heart.
You have been there for a long time.
I hope you knew that ღ
When I can close my eyes and
see your smile, feel your touch,
sense your caring and love ...
Well you make me feel so special ღ
Hugs and kisses my loving friend...
You are a woman
that I will search forever trying
to find words to describe ... ღ    J ღ
