She seeks the sun for the warmth
to replace that cold empty place in her heart ...
She searches for the pounding surf
to drive all thoughts from her mind ...
She embraces a crowd to be lost in ...
She yearns for the wind to caress
her hair and body as he once did ...
She dances among the waves
as his love once danced upon her heart ...
People look at this woman and think
how happy and carefree
but little do they know...
Before retreating
She turns and hopelessly faces
the pounding surf with yearnings
of being swept away and set free...
Is this her reality or dream,...
Her fate is in the hands of God
