A Little Penny Candle
To all those I`ve loved and lost, too numerous to mention
I`ll light a penny candle
To show you I still care
I know you`ll see the flickering flame
From somewhere over there
And as the flame moves to and fro
I`ll feel you drawing near
I`ll light a penny candle
And as I shed a tear
Your light will glow within my soul
I`ll know you`re still around
As I light a penny candle
I will not make a sound
Then I can hear you whisper
So softly in my ear
For that little penny candle
Thank you so much my dear
I know that you`re my angels
And will guide me as I go
As I light a penny candle
I want you all to know
I miss you oh so very much
The pain does not grow dim
Perhaps a penny candle
Will help to bring you in
To my life, not to my heart
For there you`ll always be
A shining penny candle
Might bring you home to me
I know I have my memories
And they can never die
With a little penny candle
I`ll never say goodbye
My love will burn just like the flame
And call you for a time
A little penny candle
To remind you,you are mine
No need for anniversaries
To help me through the night
Just a penny candle
Will bring you in my sight
I know that when I need you
You will hear my plea
With a little penny candle
You will be there, for me
