A Halloween Night's Scare
A silent,malevolent moon rises slowly
above the dark clouds of the night
watching over the heavens and the earth
with a cold cycloptic eye.
Under it's pale seedy light misty tendrils
of hateful trickery and spite spread throughout
the uneasy distraught land as the spooky voices
of gremlins and ghouls rise from the steamy moores.
While terrible blood thirsty creatures lurk in the
cemetery awaiting their chance to give us a fright
on this wonderfully frightful Halloween night.
