Poetry For Everyday People
The Unspoken Code
I can't seem
to betray myself,
even lonely
in the night,
my mind locked,
within, a sense of right,
an instinctual integrity,
a living battle,
filling
the cracks
I dare not
leave empty,
I know
silence:
should be respected,
not interpreted.
to betray myself,
even lonely
in the night,
my mind locked,
within, a sense of right,
an instinctual integrity,
a living battle,
filling
the cracks
I dare not
leave empty,
I know
silence:
should be respected,
not interpreted.
