Spiritual Poems To Touch The Heart

Soul Delight  Thyself In The Snow

Deep beneath the blanket of snow
that has graciously been
bestowed upon you this day,
resides the newness of springtime
awaiting to burst forth.

For now dear child grant thy soul to
listen closely to the beholders voice,
as He whispers softly
through the snowflakes,
of His passion to intimately know you.

As you empty your mind of all it's concerns,
allow your Heavenly Father permission to
replace your thoughts for His.
Savor each moment of respite
for soon it shall end.

Bask in the hush that the snow has
provided you, for it is a gift.
Revel in the freedom
from your familiar striving's.
Resolve to silence your disquieted heart.

Take hold of your present moment
for soon the sun will shine
and the snow will melt,
and your life will be restored as it once was.
