This life journey has brought me so many gifts
So many new friends that time doesn't allow to list
I know not one comes across our path by chance
God is the one that guides our footsteps and plans
He has the knowledge of who we might bless
Then puts us online to uplift and do the rest
So many have become brothers and sisters to me
My heart fills with joy when your words I see
We'll truly form a bond and even know one's heart
Almost from the beginning of words we impart
We share emails and some share in my same passion
Which is writing poetry in case newcomers might be asking
However most that know me does know my number one passion
That would be the precious Lord Jesus Christ ,God's Son
There's no subject I would rather discuss more
Who gave my life meaning and totally restored
For it wasn't so long ago I was truly broken
The loneliness I felt inside is better left unspoken
But Jesus came into my heart and set me free
Since then he has given many sisters and brothers to me
There's rarely none that don't touch my heart in a unique way
All being so unique with what they freely share and say
There's even some that I would call a God wink
That crossing each other's path was perfect timing
Since the joy of my heart overflows with love for you all
And time doesn't allow for me to name each one I recall
I decided I would write this poem to share with each of you
With much love enclosed in every line sincere and true
You have impacted my life in such a big way
I'm so blessed to have met you online that given day
Our lives get busy and time may pass by fast
Never doubt you're on my heartstring with a tighten clasp
Some of you I have even spoke on the phone with
That is a very special time for my spirit you always lift
Then there's many that ask me to say a prayer
This is such a blessing and I want you to know I care
Many have joined in to share in prayers for others
I know God will bless you for caring about another
Prayer is the greatest gift we can give and it's free
So I take this time to thank-you for also praying for me
I know it's your love and prayers that help me each day
For there was a time the pain in my leg hindered my way
But God is faithful and He is always right on time
To put it on a heart to connect with a need of mine
So as I end this poem that comes straight from my heart
I pray that God watches over each one that these words I impart
Your hearts and dreams I hope you continue to share
For I'm just an email away,if the Lord is willing I'll be here
For I know we didn't meet online just by chance
Someday in heaven we'll know one another at first glance
For even if we have never met in person as of yet
Our bonds grow daily and our friendship I'll never forget
