Seventeen Years
Seventeen years today
we've been together,
'neath the sun's rays
from now until forever.
Out hearts beat, we are one
I love the way you make me laugh,
we hold hands 'neath the sun
I'm happy to be your better half.
Days with you fill me with glee
here's to another seventeen more,
inside my soul feels free
it is you I've always adored.
We didn't get to celebrate
but I know this much is true,
I'm happy that this is our fate
and I want you to know how much I love you.
