Surprise Phone Call
I got a surprise phone call
one, I won't soon forget,
from my oldest brother
my day and night were set.
I was in bed, half asleep
that's when the phone did ring,
I heard his voice on the other end
at that moment, my heart did sing.
It's been two years, since I saw him last
oh, I truly miss him so,
a thousand miles separate us
I'm in New Brunswick, he's in Ontario.

My brother and I had a lot of catching up to do. Hopefully, we'll be able to stay in touch, a little more often.
