Worrying My Mom

My mom called last night
to ask how I was,
I didn't want to let her know
that my head was in a fuzz.

I didn't let her know, how I've been
crying for the past few days,
worrying my mom, I didn't want to do
I wouldn't be fair, that way.

I'm not that kind of person
I know she wants to be there for me,
making my mom worry so much
I simply cannot let that be.

I would have told her what was going on with me, but she's had it rough for quite a while now. She suffered with a nervous breakdown not too long ago. I didn't want to feel like I was burdening her with what I was going through. I was having an extremely rough time, getting over the loss of my Dad. :'o(
