Mom, I thought you cared
I guess it was all a lie,
you wanted to be closer to your grandchildren
you said, looking me in the eyes.
You told my husband, of almost twelve years
that you put up with him, because of the kids and me,
it was on your grandson's birthday, you said that
and now you're trying to set yourself free.
I'm your only daughter, mom
why is it, that you can't see?
Trying to commit suicide, more than once
what do you think it says to my brothers and me?
