Can You Hear Me?

Can you hear me, Mom
when I talk to you?
Tears are in my eyes
I'm feeling, oh, so blue.

I miss you deeply
like you wouldn't believe,
can you hear me, Mom?
My prayers, do you receive?

Every time the phone rings
I always seem to think it's you,
you were my best friend
but did you have a clue?

Memories, is all I have now
I'll hold them in my heart forever,
I'll remember you always
no matter what the weather.

My days are extremely hard to face. Every day that goes by, I can't help but think maybe it's somehow my fault, why my Mom passed away. I didn't really call her as much as I should have. God, I miss her.
