   My Sister Judy

<

<><><><><><><><>

I had a sister I loved very much
we didn't live close together
but we would aways keep in touch.
She would call me every week
sometimes her voice was proud and strong
sometimes it was sad and meek.
<><><><><><><><>
She always said I love you
before she put down the phone.
I wish I had my sister back
I still can't believe she's gone.
Judy was the youngest in a family of six
with a wonderful mom and dad
added to the mix.
<><><><><><><><>
Judy had a sad and troubled life
she was to young be a mother
and to young to be a wife.
She loved her children as she should
and most of the time by her self
tried to care for them the best she could.
<><><><><><><><>
She needed someone kind and strong
life's burden was to heavy to carry alone.
The men she loved and let in her life
aways turned out to be so very wrong.
God in his mercy told her one day
don't worry my child you are loved
the pain and hurt I will take away.
<><><><><><><><>
I had a sister I loved very much
even though God took her to heaven.
She is aways somewhere in my mind
and we will aways keep in touch.
<><><><><><><><>

<><><><><><><><>
Oh Lord, we have sown in tears
but thou hast promised that
we shall reap in joy
