To receive Jesus as your Savior
Is not dependent on your behavior
By faith, making a personal decision
Not based on any feelings or emotion
Your faith in God has always been strong
Through illness, He has carried you along
Without Him, you would not be alive today
He is your source of strength day after day
Yet confusion and questions fill your mind
Then suddenly you meet a dear friend online
They share how Jesus walks by their side
Can you really know if Jesus lives inside?
The answer is found in the Holy Spirit
He comes in when eternal life you inherit
The Spirit is now your seal and guarantee
He will never leave you with all certainty
Only the Spirit can draw you to the Truth
Before it is possible to have spiritual rebirth
God uses various ways to get your attention
Pointing you to your need of His salvation
Has there been a specific time in your life
An inner voice revealed your sin and strife?
There was a deep longing in your soul within
You were separated from God because of sin
By faith, have you accepted His sacrifice
Realizing for your sins, He paid the price?
His free gift is not based on anything you do
Be sure; the Spirit might be speaking to you
