Servant of GOD would fall, attacked
By lies whispered and faith He lacked
It seemed death wrapped it's stranglehold
On Danny's soul and walk turned cold
Pressed to the point of no return
GOD would construct bridges Dan burned
The plan would be for intervention
Divine in nature, God's great invention
The auction block would try to sell
A home in turmoil, a soul who fell
Into a pit born of what spelled
The end of Dan, nurtured by Hell
Yet in this state of mind GOD stood
Beside his son He knew that could
Rise above all odds this day
Create the path and light the way
Danny struggled and coped with hope
Greater than He whose fire stoked
The heart of Dan who would become
Dad and messenger to more than one
In this den of Lions raged
The only GOD who set the stage
For others too would need to see
The work in Dan risen to be
A child of light, a man set free
