Unity of the Spirit
This I say unto you,
Give witness in the Lord;
Starting a life anew,
Eternally restored.
Whose thoughts that might be dark,
Whom life in God is strange;
Unknown as they embark,
And unwilling to change.
If their hearts are made hard,
And no power to feel;
They have no way to guard,
Against Satan's appeal.
Evil passions wild,
Of unclean desire;
Just like a small child,
In playing with fire.
This was not what was taught,
From Christ which was given;
About things that you ought,
For entering Heaven.
