Wisdom Speaks
Long sighted common sense reasoning is the
first thing that goes when one has too much
confidence in his abilities. Then he begins
to forsake long held dreams for short sighted goals.
Don't be so proud as to let a silly thing like
pride get in your way or let your desire limit
your progress.
People meditate too much on the wrong thing
too often and get caught with their nose stuck
in the air when the rain starts to pour.
Wisdom is a secret language spoken everyday
in plain sight but if you don't know it exists
you wouldn't know to listen for it.
Our vision bounds us even before the shackles
are put on our feet.
