Ode to Coffee
Hot and steamy pleasant to the nose
Warms your hands and body when it snows
What a treat its made twenty four hours a day
Strong or weak perk it you own way
Mix it with sugar and cream
Hundreds of way to make it seems
Black and boiling it gives you a jolt
Like a sudden lightning bolt
Oh Coffee Oh Coffee keep me awake
So another pot I make
Twelve cups or more a day seems like a lot
But its not to much for me I am a coffee sot
