God gave me a gift, one beyond measure, He gave me a beautiful mother, a lovely treasure. Sacrificing, giving, her kindness so profound, Wherever she went she spread her kindness around. Her wisdom, her love had no boundaries, no end, My beautiful mother, my dearest friend. I want to thank you for all you given me through the years, The laughter we shared, and the tears. You met no strangers, and you had many friends, Showing the beauty that you had within. Your smile was genuine, sincere like no other You will be missed, my beautiful mother. Mother, no one will ever take your place, You were there, no matter what I had to face. With a love that was so pure and true, Now and forever, I will always love you. You closed your eyes and went to sleep, My heart is sadden, and will forever weep. I will feel you near, although we are apart, But I have memories, that I will hold forever in my heart. No matter how near, or far you may seem to be, My beautiful mother, your love has forever touched me. I thank God for giving you to me...a gift like no other, The unending love of my beautiful mother.
