Pastor Linda Sharing God's Love

It's been twenty years ago,since you passed away
The peace of God envelopes me so much I forgot this day
Yes until my brother Al called me and brought it to light
The peace that dwells in me had removed this date from sight
 


I know you're happy Mama and that is what's important
You don't have to suffer all the trials on earth for certain
You just walk the streets of glory without a need or care
As our guardian angel you pray for the day we'll join you there
 


Over the river Jordan that day will be so sweet
When we unite together as time endlessly will be
Oh what joy will fill our hearts on that special day
No more tears ,nor pain ,nor sorrow will anyone display

 

For when we walk with Jesus in this mere space of time
Our rewards will be in heaven as we sup with the Savior divine
So as you are looking down upon your children today
We send kisses up to heaven and big hugs for you to say ;
 


Thank-you my precious babies and Mama will see you again someday
For your time on earth is but a vapor compared to eternity
And as your guardian angel my prayers will never cease
For the love I have for each of you will only daily increase
 


Thank-you for that message Mama , I hope to pass it on
Forever in our hearts you will be for us to remain strong
For even these twenty years have flown by so very fast
Soon the distance between us will be a thing of the past
 


We know your prayers are working for one child at a time
For half of us is sharing the gospel and as servants we abide
Our minds have been renewed from this worlds way so unkind
Our joy is full as we are walking with our Savior divine
 


I can only imagine what joy fills your heart this day
As gradually you see your children headed for God's glory
I know there's still prayers that will continue to flow
As I also trust in God's word for all to be answered though
 


So as you walk along those streets of the finest gold  
Your children sends our love and your love we still know
For as sure as the wind blows and the stars are in the sky
You will remain to be a part of our hearts and lives
 


I just had the desire to write this message to you
I know you read all our writings and see all we do
For you are our Mama that never missed anything
I still recall my childhood years and your eagle eye back then
 


Oddly enough,I too inherited that same eagle eye
As I could not lie to you ,my boys too would try
And as you were like a radar always able to tell
I too could put that talent to work and a lie smell
 


We Mama's don't get much credit until they are raised
Then it seems to be so minimal that they offer up our praise
But Mama you know as well as I do ,even up to this day
The joy fills our heart from God giving us the chance and way
 


Some Mama's get to stay through out a child's whole life
Then others are way to soon taken away before their time
But with all that said , God is the one that has the plan
Tomorrow isn't promised so we all should heed His command
 


Until next time or when we meet again
I share these words of love to you from your children
We love you Mama and we always will
It was your love and courage that remains in us still
