My Disabilities Do Not Define My Life!My disabilities do not define my life, In fact, my life's very much enhanced! As through the paths of good and bad, I have always, always danced! I don't let things break me up! Because nothing will beat me down! And just because I may be strong, Doesn't mean that I can't cry or frown! For we all have glitches to get through, Some more than others, it seems, And as for me, a life of good health… …Is sadly in my dreams! But hey, oh no, that's really good! Cos this is another test you see! God is greater than all else! And so He always tests little old me! And so far, so good, I think? I hope! Well, if not, I'm sure He'll put me right! And anyway, I always ask forgiveness, In my bed, in the dark of night! But I don't just ask the Lord to forgive me, Because I say it from deep down deep! And I mean it from the bottom of my heart, Just before I nod off to sleep… For by the time my sleep kicks in, I've usually said all my prayers to Him, But sometimes I have to admit… I don't finish them; is that a sin? Nah, I'm sure that He'll forgive me! Cos this poor body has such pain! And I know when all my meds kick in, I'll be nodding off once again! Night, night! Do disabilities rule 'my' life? No way!
