 Weeping Willow

The butterflies, angels and weeping willow trees
Danced with each other on the evening breeze
Butterflies alighting on the angel's silver wings
Each one luxuriating in the comfort it brings....

Weeping Willow, please weep for us no more
We have the angels and the butterflies galore
Just once, hold your branches high in the sky
Point them heavenward where butterflies fly....

Butterflies, angels and weeping willow trees
To you we have no question but this one, 'Please,
May we bring along with us the birds and the bees?
May we all come join you in your aura serene....'

We all admire the arching limbs of the willow trees
Set against the backdrop of a glorious sunset frieze
Magnificent, stately, heart-achingly lovely scene
So proudly stands the willow in its garments green....
