In Her Heart
Recieved an email yesterday
Read through a poem that one displayed
Would sit upon my screen reading
How much unloved in life her's fleeting
She wrote of things that single out
The unkown truth in her who bouts
Sentiment that needs to hold
Woman, Nebra, despaired and cold
Love it seems has no place in
Her heart beating faintly within
Maybe the choice someone has made
A slave of one, whose soul now fades
Fading in life, now meaning less
In her who needs gentle caress
Yet blind is one who controls her
A soulmate deaf, living unstirred
There is no death like love not felt
By one whose heart each day does melt
Inside Nebra who wish she could
Change time and place I know she would
Dedicated to my friend, Nebra
