Come into the light
A glorious light is shining,
Through eternity's open door,
A light so pure and holy,
Shining now and forever more.
The light penetrates my soul,
Exposing my darkest secret sins,
I'm most certainly unworthy,
Yet the Saviour welcomes me in.
My tears of joy rinse His feet,
Oh why did He love me so?
He died for me, I know not why,
Crucified! Eternal love to show,
Calvary's curse carved in his hands,
He reaches out to welcome me,
My heart bursts, boldly boasting,
Jesus, Lord Jesus, you set me free.
