Rising from my rumpled bed, I stood at window,
Peeking around the cascading folds of curtains,
Relishing the crisp and lovely early morning,
Outstretching my arms in silent supplication,
Imploring, surprisingly, for pain-free pardon,
Feeling, joyously feeling, warm healing breezes,
Seeing the bright glow of the rising sun's light,
Glowing, myself, in newly found peace and pardon.
