Anchored In My Savior's Arms

Locked deep into my Savior's love,
The heart of me is housed above.
Word-proofed from all profanity...
Negatives bounce right off of me!

Shadowed beneath His wide-spread wings...
Sheltered from all ungodly things...
Spared from a sinner's certain wrath...
Footprints of faith highlight my path.

Saved, sealed and showered with His Grace...
Baptized in joy...all gloom erased!
A new creation...clothed in Light!
Redeemed...made righteous in His sight!

Elevated to heights of ecstasy...
A spiritual sphere God granted me
To soar straight to my Savior's side
In heavenly places I abide!

Blessings are many...sorrows few
Toils and tears serve to renew
A dependence on the One who reigns
Who cancels losses...contributes gains.

World, look at me! I don't belong!
I can no longer sing your song!
No longer captured by your charms,
I'm anchored in my Savior's arms!
