A Prayer For Our Nation's Restoration
(Thank-You Jesus For Being My Mediator >1 Timothy 2:5
For there is one God, and one mediator between
God and men, the man Christ Jesus;)
Father God my heavy heart I must bring to you
The hearts of many you've tried to reveal the truth
But Lord as it was written many will turn from your laws
Calling things that are an abomination " right" then applause
Oh Lord you are revealing to me as well
As the rocks are being turned over I can tell
Those I myself thought were righteous men
Their choices are revealing the lack of truthes in them
Father God I beseech you in this most dark hour for our nation
Please Lord make known, breaking your laws reaps only abomination
I know they once were faithful and not easily moved
Standing on your word once showing reverance and love for you
Now it seems instead of turning our country around
Things that will destroy our country gets the upper hand
Oh my heart is breaking that eyes are being closed
Your goodness and love is being mocked as sin grows
Instead of bringing our country back to God as it should
Those that had a voice no longer on your word they've stood
There's once thought christians now choosing evil to rule
Instead of getting back to your commandments and Holy word
Father I pray to you ...please make them see
Our land is coming up on an abomination and calamity
For YOU are the one that gives us our freedom and life
If our voice is for your word you will remove strife
I know that bible prophesy is being played out each day
Perhaps this is the beginning of the end as you say
For this nation will not make it under rules of mankind
Without you and your laws satan will win big time
Oh I don't doubt you have all power and control
But I also know you gave man dominion though
And also your word says we'll reap what we sow
And in Mark 4:14 the sower sows the word " this I know"
I don't want to live in a world over ran by sin
Please Father God pour out your spirit upon men
Your people perish for lack of knowledge you say
This is your sovereign word spoken to take heed and obey
When it is said to obey the laws of leaders
This wasn't to be if it goes against your sovereignty
Father God I pray for mercy and forgiveness of this land
I beseech you to open up the eyes and ears of all man
I pray for total restoration in our land
I pray for your word to win out over all man's
I pray you give visions to what our country will be
If it continues totally ignoring God's sovereignty
So as my heart pours this prayer out to you
Father God please renew mens mind to what is truth
If this can't be done I pray you come quickly Lord Jesus
For it is through your love only ...that will free us
In Jesus name I pray...amen
