The eyes of Love

The Eyes of Love

I've gazed on her beauty she has more than a pretty face
I have witnessed her dedication, at times so out of place
I've have felt her strength, and marveled in my heart
Hypnotized by her grace, mesmerized from the start
Surprised by her wisdom inadvertently on display
Lost in the eyes of love simply blown away
Her head is far above the clouds, and yet so down to earth
Her presence alone unmeasured, none can judge its worth
Her embrace is soothing, as calming as a summer breeze
Her voice soft and gentle, comforting with ease
Her confidence like wings soaring high above
I have found myself lost in the eyes of love
She has looked my way, her light illuminates my soul
Darkness has no place with her, everything a glow
Happy days are here lonely days are gone
Her arms my safe haven, despair no more my home
As Noah aboard the ark awaited the return of the dove
I have found signs of life in the eyes of love
