The call of the sea still haunts my memories of you
Now that you are away from me my days are so blue
I walk along the lonely shore where we last met
When together we sat watching the beautiful sunset
You took my hand holding it close to your heart
Promising that your love from me would never part
Now when I look down from my home in heaven above
I see you still wondering about our long ago love
We are parted not through the fault of our own
It was time for ancestors spirits to take me home
You must be strong living your life with someone new
As we will be brothers and sisters with spirits anew
I spiritually walk along the shore in memories of you
Waiting for the day our promises shall become true
