Of cruelty done to man's best friend
An innocent dog became a victim
In a scheme too devious to comprehend
The little mutt was transported by airplane
The trip from a foreign country was very long
By his behavior he was apparently in pain
A cargo officer noticed something very wrong
He ran his fingers across the dog's tummy
With a gasp of surprise he became quite alarmed
The poor dog's stomach felt extremely hard
At once he suspected the dog was harmed
A veterinary doctor was then called in
To examine the suffering dog's condition
At once he suspected the cause of the problem
He started surgery based on pure intuition
Obviously the dog was used as a carrier
A transporter in a drug related crime
Someone had cruely stuffed the dog's stomach
The vet. worked to save the dog against time
The doc. found ten sealed condom bags inside
Filled with a familiar white substance
The pup would have died in a matter of hours
He was saved by the Vet's kind assistance
The sick dog was in terrible grave danger
He'd dying if the drugs were not removed
But the pup showed that he was a fighter
He recovered and with time he improved
