MAY GOD Bless AMERICA

They Were Not Alone
God was at the towers,
when they came crashing down.
gathering up his children,
his love knows no bounds;
~Q~
Oh Mother, he has your daughter.
Oh Father, he has your son,
he took them on to heaven,
their life on earth was done;
~Q~
Our world has been torn apart
and left such an aching hole,
Deep within our heart,
~Q~
to the little children of this troubled land
who lost a mom and dad,
to hate they can't understand
just know this to be true
~Q~
You are not alone
God is right there with you;
When you go to bed at night.
and close your eyes in sleep,
he whispers good night,
and kisses you gently on the cheek;
~Q~
to all people who lost a loved one
Remember
To be absent from the body is,
to be present with the lord,
~Q~
for the lonely and afraid.
remember
the words of our Lord.
I was with you in your weakness and fear,
and much trembling;
