Leave Behind
I leave behind, all hurt and pain, Moving on, leaving no one to blame. I refuse to wallow in sadness and the blues, I will find happiness, this is what I choose. I want to sing sweet melodies, And that special someone, to sing with me. I leave behind, the abuse, the terrors in the night, The questions that have no answers, and my sad plight. The sun will send me a rainbow, to wish upon, I leave behind, my sorrows, what's done is done. I leave behind, burned bridges and have let go, I am healing, and I have begun to grow. Knowing that I cannot escape my past, I want to grab on to life, and a love that will last. In my future, I don't know what I will find, But the past, I will "Leave Behind".
