Lord, in the times I stumble and sin
When I confess, you forgive again
What blessed peace and joy to know
In You, I am declared white as snow
I may sin, without being fully aware
Your blood covers all my flaws there
Only by mercy and grace at the cross
I will not be condemned or suffer loss
You forgive without limit, how can it be?
I will never understand or even begin to see
Your love does not depend on my behavior
I am Yours, having trusted You as Savior
I will stand before You on Judgment Day
In awe of You, but not afraid in any way
For all of my sins, You do not keep count
My life, after I am saved, I will give account
It is not to determine my eternal destination
That is secure from the moment of salvation
Instead, You will reward works I have done
From a pure heart, bringing glory to the Son
Everyone will lay their crowns at Your feet
Worthy is the Lamb, our lips shall repeat
Forever, the redeemed will give You praise
With angelic voices in perfect harmony raise
Jeremiah 31:34b (NASB)
"For I will forgive their iniquity, and their sin
I will remember no more."
