Stand Fast in Freedom
Oh how happy we can be,
Because Christ has set us free;
From iniquity and sin,
And corrupting us within.
But let no man put a yoke,
Where they try to evoke;
With some kind of temptations,
Causing you tribulations.
For if you begin to stray,
Then you will be turned away;
By the grace of our Lord,
Since His Law you have ignored.
Your faith works through His love,
Which will keep you free thereof;
Hope by faith through the Spirit,
Ensuring you inherit.
I am certain what you heard,
Of staying true to the Word;
And freedom douses fire,
Of a lustful desire.
