Say It Softly - Shout It Loud

The children are torn from the womb nice and warm
Someone has just taken a life and thrown it away
From the place they should've been safe from harm
I wonder, did any tears fall from heaven that day....

Life, liberty, the pursuit of happiness for everyone
Sonorous the sound of the tolling of the Liberty Bell
For all those unfortunate ones who will never see the sun
Amidst the bell's sound of freedom, a few teardrops fell....

"Doctors" with no conscience, last year a million died
The gutters ran red from the blood of the abortion mill
What kind of poetry is this, that keeps us notified
Of the shame of it all and of the count of the kill....

The Supreme Court ruled they weren't human anyway
For the length of time that they were not outside
And if they are an inconvenience, get rid of them any day
Believe it or not, that is how the law is applied....

And the court made that ruling the day the Constitution died....
