 TURKEYS UNITE!!!

The fowl sound out their avian echoes gallinaceous,
Telling one and all of their feelings.  My gracious!
A holiday, national holiday supposedly one of peace!
At times like this they all wish to be ducks or geese....

They were not Powhatan nor did they know one.
They weren't pilgrim, why were they under the gun?
Just so people in funny hats could gobble up some food?
How could any human being dare to be so rude?

This was the last straw, for humans to be so inhuman!
Turkeys unite!  Attack while the rose is still bloomin'!
Come late November they must fight for their very lives.
Toms were going to die, and some of them had wives!

And think of all the poor little ones, barely trotting.
The shame of it all, this thing the humans were plotting!
Can't we all just get along?  Maybe a vegetarian meal.
Doesn't anyone at all care how the turkeys feel????
