Those flirting on the fringes of salvation,
Who have heard the Word of Truth but don't concede
Are in danger of being totally uprooted
For doubt, when planted deep, will surely seed.
One unbelief will entertain another.
The soil that lets sin grow will crack and dry.
Un-attended faith yields thorns and thistles.
And one could harvest nothing more than just a lie.
Commitment draws a fresh flow from the fountain,
Producing fruit found nourishing for all.
Only then can growth be good and be productive.
Branches must be pruned to perfectly enthrall.
One cannot capture rain without receptacles.
The Holy Ghost is pouring God's gifts out
Into those willing and those ready to receive them.
It's the latter day rain the scriptures speak about.
If one is thirsty for the truth there is a river.
If one is willing to commit there is a stream.
Reconciliation waters are still running
To wash, restore, and gloriously redeem.
There is safety and security in the Savior.
There is friendship with the Father through His Grace.
The Blood of the Beloved tore the barrier
To make a way into the Holy Place.
That's why neutrality is never possible.
The price God paid for sin makes this a shame.
How can one flirt on the fringes of salvation
When The Cross reminds us this was not a game?
Please walk away and turn from each temptation.
Lift up your cup to heaven to be filled.
God is graciously awaiting your arrival
To the place where every turbulance is stilled.
All it takes is one's desire and dedication.
One's connection can be clearly understood.
Please quit flirting on the fringes of salvation.
Come...taste and see that the Lord is good!
Lovingly,
