My Day Complete
It's almost 5 pm where I reside
The Sun has set and now does hide
Behind the clouds that cried all day
Just like my heart, I'd have to say
Tired yet strength summon to muster
The man in me says move it buster
It's Friday night, just got payed
It's time to lift what on me weighs
The stress that's kept me down today
I'll wake up what in me has strayed
A life to live if for two days
The weekends here, my time to play
I'll shoot some hoops and probably pool
Billiards to some, sounds much more cool
Either way I'm outta here
I said goodnight, did you not hear?
Goodbye love, maybe I'll see
The you I've missed and wish could be
In these arms that long to hold
The UK gal that stole my soul
I wish you well and more Gods speed
While time does tick away the need
The fix is you upon our eyes
The hurt is now, for now goodbye
