Ever so softly

Photobucket
ever so softly the window to the world closes to me
depression enters the room i feel it again
my friends are so far away they cant help me
ever so softly the tendrils wrap around my mind

my heart cries at being left out of family events
im only part of them through marriage they let me know
i try to fight the depression always an ongoing battle
ever so softly the tendrils wrap around my mind

i am reminded how fragile my world really is
i take things way to seriously but i will control this
do not think about it occupy my mind in others ways
ever so softly the tendrils wrap around my mind

my battle is constant even with my medications
my environment is stress free but oh so lonely
loneliness is my worst enemy but i will survive
ever so softly the tendrils wrap around my mind
