From the Heart Through the Pen

This is the first time
She lay in my arms
I can feel my heart skip beats
I felt silly cause I could feel
The sweat on the bottom of my feet
Making me realize this was no dream

How great it was
On this cool fall night
The warmth of her beauty
The way her smile
Had my heart liquefied
Like water, my soul purified

Calm like this
I've never experienced
Never a kiss so sensual
Never a touch so passionate
Never angels singing so eloquent
Never a moment so tranquil

Never True Beauty Heaven sent
Her fingertips caress my head
Her other hand wrapped in mine
Her cheek rested on my chest
This night I will not forget
Tingles go down my spine

Outside the sun has set
Yet her smile illuminates the room
I close my eyes as I soak it all in
And pull her closer to me
The best hasn't come yet
But I mark this moment as perfect
